    Integrating Homeseer and Media Center

I currently have Homeseer (HS2) installed on an XP Media Center. The computer is located close to my audio/video equipment so it is easy to make connections between the computer and the audio/video equioment. I consider this computer to be a dedicated computer for Homeseer, automation, home theater/entertainment applications. I have not done anything soi far to integrate Homeseer and Media Center.

My main computer that I use for other applications is a Vista Media Center computer. Both computers are fairly new (6 mo.) with high speed (duo) processors and are networked together.

I would like to find out the best way to integrate Homeseer and Media Center, e.g. Use one computer only? Use both? Pros and cons? What is possible? What is needed? What is the ideal setup etc. (My preference would be to use run Media Center on the same computer as Homesser but I'd like to know if there are any advantages doing it differently)

    Any comments/suggestions/ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I have my MCE 2005 and Homeseer on separate boxes. I don't think HS is much of a cpu hog but the way I see it - I want the MCE box to be as responsive as possible so that there are no delays when watching TV. There is beta version of the vista mce plug-in (http://board.homeseer.com/showthread...822#post800822) that will let you access HS from MCE. I actually wrote a little script that will let me send notifications from HS to MCE which you can see here:
