    Homeseer API call missing??

Hi, seeing as plugins can be stopped and started from the Homeseer / config page would it be possible to add an API call so that we can start / stop plugins via script? or plugin?

Would also be nice to be able to get a list of all plugins that Homeseer sees, even if they are not enabled

    Cheers, TrOjAn

This is already possible, but I definitely would not recommend it. I can see no good reason for doing it in the first place, because now your triggers and actions are unpredictable, but with the fact that .NET code can be left in memory, and can even be left running, the shut-down status of a plug-in can be uncertain depending upon how it was written. Also, shutting down the plug-in will NOT release it from memory such that you could replace the plug-in file with a new version.

You can get a list of all of the plug-ins by writing a script that lists the files that start with hspi_ and end with .exe, .ocx, or .dll in the root HomeSeer folder.
