Waking up kids for a fire alarm

This is a disturbing video that came out last year I think. It shows how kids will not wake to the sound of a smoke alarm going off. They say the best way is if the kids hear their parents voices waking them up. That should be a snap with Homeseer.

    Pretty frightening, aye?

What is the preferred smoke detector for Home Automation? The MCT425?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
