RCA push button x10 switch issues

Ok so this is going to be hard to explain so I will start with this...

    current hardware setup:
    23896W - X10 togglelinc switch set to L14
    MS14A - motion set to B2
    DS10A - Utility Room Door

    current HS events:
    B2 on = L14 on
    B2 off = L14 off
    DS10A on = L14on

    currently it all works great..

now I want to move these type switches from the basement/crawl and util room to " In the Living Space " of the house..

so I bought some switches from ebay....
    RCA Wall Switch Module (HC30WD)

I got 2 way and 3 way switches so I dont need the 3 ways but can use the push button 2 ways...

now I took the above light switch out...
    put one of these in....
    set it to L14

Open door to util room and lights come on... Good...
Use Palm Remote and lights come on.... Good...
Motion on the other hand does not work... not sure why...

trying to troubleshoot I even used a palm pad remote to hit B2 on and B2 off (motion code) and the light works.....

so that is the confusing part... the light is turning on via everything except the motion!!!!!! it is strange... I tried 4 of them... then I tried 2 of them under the stairs with the same issue.....

anyone have any ideas? I will be ebaying them if this is the case... Not a biggie as there were switchlinc switches in the box.... my boss wants them so I will get all my money back and could throw these away..... but curious why sooooo much works but just 1 part does not...

the strangest part is I understand that motion is only sending a x10 code... B2 on or off and the light will not turn on..but if I use the palm pad to send taht same command the light works!!!!!???? SOOOOOOOOOOOO CONFUSED!!!

    well I figured it out...
seems that these switches dont like CF or the round cf lights..
for some reason I had 2 round cf lights in... I took them out and put a bulb in and viola.. works.. put a curley queue light in and no go and the switch buzzed...

    oh well...
    at least they work...

dont care about cf as these lights shut off after 8 mins of no motion...

I had the same problem with my lamp module/switch for my outside lights. I changed all 4 bulbs to cf's and it didn't work with HS. I could turn them on at the switch - but it would buzz. Just changing one bulb of four made it work. I guess the switch needed more load. Swapped it out for an appliance module/switch and works fine.
