I have a Hometroller2 with a bunch of my old X10 devices and it's working well. I am adding insteon switches to my media room (although after doing a bunch of reading I think I should have gone with UPB)
I have an Insteon scene controller local to the cluster of insteon switches to control the scenes easily from the switch..
But what I'd like to do is integrate these scenes with a single multifunction remote that also controls the projector, blueray, receiver, blinds. I'm sure I could do it with an Insteon Remote that supports the ramping and all, but I'd like to stick with a single remote if possible.
I was looking at the Harmony 890 as it appears to do pretty much what I want to do for my components, but I'm wanting to integrate lighting in the programs to increase the WAF. Does anyone have experience with this remote or could recommend one that could do all these devices. I'm not tied to a particular remote, but I'd also like to keep the remote cost below $500.
