To clear any device in HomeSeer you can use this command in the control and then immediate section. &hs.setDeviceString "A1", clear changing the A1 to the code for the device you want to change. Keep in mind that some plugins will change this each time HS is restarted.Leave a comment:

Hello, I am a NEWBIE when it comes to HS.... Not sure where to post this question but this seems appropriate... I want to change the icons displayed for a device... How do I do that? .. the reason I ask is that for some reason 2 of my devices have changed after I install the z-wave thermostat plug in. These is one dimmer and one relay and both now appear as "thermostats" I can no longer control then either (no on/off/dim options).... Any thoughts as to how I can revert these 2 devices back?
