I am finally rebuilding my HS system after taking some forced time away from all this. For some reason when I pluged my usb 1132U into the computer running windows media center, it brought it up as an unknown device. I have tried different ports and nothing. It works on a different computer running XP so I know the device works. How can I make the system forget this device has been p[lugged in before. I have uninstalled it, but can I clear it anywhere else. Can I force it to load the human interface drivers for it? This is supposed to be the easy part of the rebuild.
