Forum Search Capabilities?

I'm trying "stopped thread" (with the double quotes) for a forum keyword search, but it is acting as stopped OR thread. How do I specify a phrase search.

Similarly, "stopped AND thread" (without the double quotes) is still acting as stopped OR and OR thread.

What am I missing, or is this really a crippled search engine.

You're better off using google to search the board instead of the built-in search:

site:board.homeseer.com "stopped thread"

Although I just tried it and do not get any responses for "stopped thread"
