    HRDS1 and status

I just got a HRDS1 yesterday and am using it to monitor my garage door for open/closed.

    It displays as Motion/No Motion

Is there a way to modify it to display Closed/Open? Changing the icons would be icing on the cake. I am comfortable scripting if that is what's necessary.

I was able to solve this by adding the sensor to doomotion.

Now I can make it say what ever I want and add icons

    Good to know...

Create an event that fires on status change, that runs a script. In the script, use hs.SetDeviceString to place whatever string you want displayed for the new status.

Funny; I have 3 of these sensors; 2 operate saying "open/closed" and the third that I just added says motion/no motion.
