    temperature sensor reading, zwave

ok, not sure where to look.
looking for some type of plugin that will read oregon scientific rms300 sensor and its remote sensors.

I have HomeSeer Basic, and Zwave z-stick.
I am controlling a wayne dalton thermostat.

but I had the oregon temperature sensors, and their software is abysmal.

I'd like to use homeseer to do this; I've been told that I have to upgarade from basic, but there wasn't certainty as to whehter any plugin would read the oregon sensor.

any assitance as to how to read that sensor, OR, using SOME OTHER SENSOR, a simple one, through usb or zwave, to have computer read it, so I can just see my upstairs and downstairs temperature and adjust thermostat to keep water pipes from freezing....

PS, I can use the upstairs thermostat to read spot temperatures (wayne dalton), but Id like to collect the day's temperatures

    thanks
    Nick

It depends on which Oregon sensors you have but the RFXCom hardware will read many of these sensors.
Have a look around the message board with a RFXCom search. There are many many threads on these sensors.
