CM11A--Either no license or trial has expired

I have made no changes to my HS configuration or events in several weeks, but this morning the following showed up in my log:

    2/23/2009 8:00:51 AM ~!~Info~!~Event Trigger "Speakers-Master Bedroom Off"
    2/23/2009 8:00:51 AM ~!~Info~!~Raw command: S2 off Dimval: 0 Data: 0
    2/23/2009 8:02:12 AM ~!~CM11A~!~Unable to send to CM11A/CM12U
    2/23/2009 8:58:59 AM ~!~Info~!~Shutting down X10 Plug-In: X10 CM11A/CM12U
    2/23/2009 8:58:59 AM ~!~Info~!~Finished initializing X10 interface
    2/23/2009 8:58:59 AM ~!~Info~!~Finished initializing infrared interface
    2/23/2009 8:59:06 AM ~!~Info~!~Initializing X10 Plug-in: X10 CM11A/CM1 On COM Port 5
2/23/2009 8:59:06 AM ~!~Error~!~Unable to initialize X-10 interface X10 CM11A/CM1 :Either no license or trial has expired
    2/23/2009 8:59:16 AM ~!~Info~!~Finished initializing X10 interface X10 CM11A/CM1
After I noticed the 'Unable to send...' in the log, I tried to disable/reenable the CM11A plugin with the results noted above.

I updated the HS software to the current version (2.3.0.19), and reinstalled the CM11A plugin, even though I already had the latest version.

I now get the following in my log when HS restarts:
    2/23/2009 12:23:29 PM ~!~Info~!~Initializing X10 Plug-in: X10 CM11A/CM1 On COM Port 5
2/23/2009 12:23:29 PM ~!~Error~!~Unable to initialize X-10 interface X10 CM11A/CM1 :Either no license or trial has expired
    2/23/2009 12:23:29 PM ~!~Info~!~Finished initializing X10 interface X10 CM11A/CM1
The CM11A plugin shows as 'Disabled' in setup, and when I click on the disabled button, HS reminds me that the changes have not been saved. I click on save, but the CM11A plugin still shows as 'Disabled'. Nothing shows up in the log when I attempt to reenable the plugin.

I am unable to do anything about the license issue as the Current License Mode for this plugin shows as 'Included', with no option to enter a code.

Any suggestions, or do I need to submit a help ticket?

    Thank you,
    Jerry

That's funny, though I am sure your not laughing.
I myself would try to reinstall the CM11 plugin through the updater.

To fix this until we get a fix in place you simply replace your gSelectedx10Interface value in settings.ini file within the config directory. Set the value to
      gSelectedx10Interface=X10 CM11A/CM12U

        Thanks Rupp,

That did the trick. I tried searching for a fix before posting, but all I found were posts that ultimately recommended submitting a help ticket.

I've just had to use this workaround to fix my own X10 problem. It was raised nearly 2 years ago so it might be an idea if a more permanent fix could be developed?

We found the cause of this and it's using any browser other than IE to enable/disable this plugin. This will be fixed in HomeSeer 3.
