sensor status on/off, but not sure if working

help, I've checked other threads, found some similar, but no answer.

HomeSeer Basic, and couple intermatic on/off switches, and a wayne dalton thermostat.

In winter, program is able to control thermostat very well, to energy savings and back to normal.

BUT, I am currently tryig to control one of the intermatic switches. Switch 1, I tried on/off from program, and was on site, to see the green light go on, and then off

Switch 2, I am not currently on site, I had set it up and did see it turn off and then back on. BUT, now, it shows status changing, on the event recorder, and on the device program, BUT it does not seem to be working !

Reason I know this is that I have a DSL router plugged into it; it is suposed to power OFF at 7:45 am and PM, and back on at 7:47 am and pm.
BUT, even though status changes to OFF, I am still able to remotely see the computer at that site (I am 2 hrs away), even when switc (and supposedly modem) is off.

I occasionaly got one of the messages about "failed to link...."

HOW to see what that status actually is, of that switch, or to trouble shoot this, from my current location (not on site)?

I use hamachi to log in and VNC to control the computer

It sounds like the command is not reaching the switch by the error your posted. How many Z-Wave devices do you have? Which thermostat are you running?

here s part of log file, I was trying to do optmize and configure.
I have three devices., and the z-stick usb.
I THINK I have the HA03C - Z-Wave Lamp Module - whichever ones came with your starter pack,
and I have the wayne dalton thermostat

      setup is
computer to zstick. lamp module about 15 feet away straight ahead, and thermostat about 20 feet to right of htat.
lamp module in basement, almost directly below the thermostat

        help, still no resolution

help, tried to work on this last evening.
        still can't optimize, etc.
BUT, I KNOW that the zstick and software were controlling at least the dimmer #2 and thermostat #4, because when I was at my remote cabin, I DID use the software to control the devices, and was able to see the green lamp light go on and off, and see the thermostat change from regular to energy saving and back again, and it controlled things fine this winter, I was able to adjust the temperature before going to that location, to warm it up for my arrival there.

again, I am NOT at that location now, I am controlling the comptuer remotely, anything else I can do to try and get these optimized, etc,

        OR,
what else can I do when I am AT that location?

        thansk
        Nick

You may want to try the new priority help available here: http://board.homeseer.com/forumdisplay.php?f=990

            Rupp,
            thanks for reply.
I'll wait to see if any other response to this question, it is not critical, but I will look at the priority options for future stuff.
            thanks
