    New Insteon RFID reader interface!

    I just happened to go out to the Smarthome website and saw that they're offering a new RFID tag interface. Seems like a pretty good deal and comes with 5 tags.

      From the reading it looks like you have to be almost in contact with it. Too bad, it would be perfect otherwise.

      (also the add says comes with 6 tags)

        Looks to me to be like the Elk Proximity reader... a "touch and go" if you will. I'd say it's about as short-range as you get.
