The Homeseer web pages just provide a snapshot of the current status when the page is called. They have no ability to dynamically update although this is perfectly feasible using Ajax etc. You can set the pages to auto refresh after XX seconds and this can be found under the setup/web server tab
Homeseer traditionally only supports IE and the status icon issue is well documented. They are improving support for other browsers but this one has yet to be corrected.
Buried in the script library on this forum is a java-script clock you can use to replace the static clock.
If you wish to have dynamic updates then you need to look at the other front-end interfaces available such as HSTouch.Jon
