Question for anyone with Compose PLC CCWHISPLC

I recently purchased and installed a Compose PLC celing fan controller in compatibility mode. Works great, not too terriible to setup and control.

My question is about the LEDs during operation - perhaps I missed this in the manual.

The switch has 3 speeds. It appears the LEDs will cycle through 3 "levels" one corresponding with each of the 3 speeds. However, there is always one LED which is always on, albeit in a "dim" mode. What does that signify?

    Thanks for any insight.

That Dim led is the default speed that the switch will turn on to if tapped.

First the switch goes to full speed for 2 seconds to get the fan spinning and then will default to the speed indicated by the Dim LED.

Why oh why didn't I just leave things alone, they had been working.

Rupp, I just picked it up off ebay for $55 brand new. I'll probably never get another deal like this. I need 4 more now...
