    Licensing problems

    I am a registered user HS2
    I want to install HS2 on a nw computer
    Downloaded the full version HS2 from the website
    After installing I tried to register on line and got the error
    'bad license file'
    my license ID is 35576
    What can I do ?

    In the startup log it says
    'HomeSeer version 2.3.019 starting now (Home Troller buils)'
    This is strange it should be (Standard build)

    Also in the startup log I got the error
    'license file HomeTroller.lf does not exists'
    but I have HS2 not HomeTroller

    It looks like I downloaded the wrong installation file
    But on the download menu of your website i selected

    The file is 80.5 mb

    Please advise

    Problem solved

    Sorry, I was too quick to cry help
    I removed all HS2 related programs and maps
    Uninstalled HS2 and downloaded the installation file again
    Now it all works it stated now 'Standard build' as it should be

    I did not have to register again, how does HomeSeer knows
    I registerd already ? (does HomeSeer checks my e-mail address
    against my License ID ?)

    In retrospect, what I did the last time (when it went wrong) was
    after I downloaded and installed I used the installer to upgrade HS2
    (what was totally unneccesary since I had already the latest version)
    maybe in doing so I got the version for HomeTroller

    Anyway, I am happy again

      This error is generally caused by the user loading the wrong version of HomeSeer. You must select wisely grasshopper.
