As I'm heading out I was kinda wondering the same thing about this sensor. Just checked. Mines dead. Device last change say its been at 100% for 285 days That would be when I installed it. Funny. Looks dead to me. Its does not respond to a wet thumb across the leads. Fresh batteries and it now seems to be working.
Another odd thing. It won't let me set a wake up time of anything more then 4 hours. All my other battery sensors are set to 1 day. It works to trigger an alarm and an event on water detection but I don't know if the battery reports work.
That is Not good. I've got alerts setup on all battery devices to check daily and send an email at 30% or lower to avoid this dead device situation.
I see its been discontinued. I wonder is this is part of the reasonComment
