CM15A USB not recongnised by HS - Fixed!

Trying to install the plug-in and cannot get HS to recognise the CM15A. Everything looks OK during install, but HS does't even show it under SETUP -> INTERFACES.

    Any else have this problem?

Does it show in the log? Should show it as a found plugin, if not would say the files may be in the wrong place - was it a download or via the updater?

What version of HomeSeer are you running? Were there any errors in the HomeSeer log file indicating an error installing the plugin? Are you running HomeSeer as a service?

I installed via the updater and everything looked good. I'm running the latest HS 2.3.0.19.

I go to SETUP -> INTERFACES and the CM15A does not appear in the list - just the previous interfaces that have been installed.

No, many plugins will not fully install when HS is running as a service. Shut down HomeSeer and restart and see if the plugin is listed in the log file as it starts up.

Try upgrading to the latest version of HomeSeer and see if that doesn't solve this issue. http://www.homeseer.com/downloads

Hmmm...ran the update via your link and it still shows that I am at version 2.3.0.19 after a restart. And no CM15A in the log.

I took a look at the 'last_update.txt' file and can see the following info - however, this does not reflect in the log when I start HS:

                      Maybe this will help?

I'm not sure what's going on here. Are some of your HomeSeer 2 folders or files write protected?

No - not unless Vista in it's infinite wisdom decided to do something stupid like that. Nothing appears to be write protected and I don't get any warnings or errors induicating this.

No errors - everything looks like it goes smoothly. I'm really scratching my head on this one.
