    DSC Alarm Info Request

I am getting ready to buy a DSC 1832 alarm and was wondering if anyone knew of a good website to buy it. I've found a website that has a nice bundle, see http://www.alarmsystemstore.com/DSC-...-219cp01nt.htm

The reason I will be using the DSC unit is my house already has components from a fairly recent DSC unit. I plan on getting the IT-100 and eventually making it work with HomeSeer.

Any gotchas or items of wisdom anyone is willing to share would be appreciated.

    Thanks...

The official DSC plugin has some bugs and shortcomings and development has been non-existent for some time now. However, nearly all the basics are there, it interfaces into HS well. I get my kit directly from Doug at http://www.baranharper.com/htm/4.htm

The site aint pretty, but he's honest, ships quickly (and importantly for me internationally).

Thanks guys. I bought mine at the Alarm System Store based on a recommendation from a friend at work... This kit here... http://www.alarmsystemstore.com/DSC-...-219cp01nt.htm

I ordered it, an IT-100 and several other items on a Tuesday afternoon and it came in the mail Friday. No shipping charge and the motion sensor was upgraded to a newer version than the one pictured... Everything was packed nicely for the trip and all arrived in good shape... Now to just find time to get it installed. I planned on doing just that this weekend but we had snow, lots of it for TN, about 7 or so inches. So I spent all weekend with my wife and kids, sledding and doing donuts with the go-cart... Lots of fun...
