Problem speaker.exe init - Fixed!

Hello,

Sorry, my english is bad, i'm a french homeseer user.

I have a problem about speaker.exe. When homeseer start, i'have this a windows message ,"HomeSeer speaker has encountered a problem and must be closed ..."

On the windows logs applications " .net runtime 2.0 eventype clr20r3, p1, speaker.exe ...."

My pc work under windows 2000 pro, i've installed all update, i've reinstalled homeseer but it's same.

If someone has an idea for solve this problem... thank you very much

Check the windows event viewer and see if there is more information on the issue that may help trouble shoot this issue.

Thank you for you post, but i found the soluce. I've installed WMP 9.0 and i'm fink speaker.exe use a codec for it.
