HS Log message -- Creating ASP.Net application host

Can anyone tell me what the message in the HS log of "Creating ASP.Net application host" is actually doing?
The reason I ask is because it takes over 4 minutes for this to complete when starting HomeSeer.

I have seen this in every build. It just bothered me again while I was restarting HS and I thought I would ask.

    Is anyone else seeing this?
    Cheers,
    Bob

Wow, I see that same entry in my startup sequence but it takes less than a minute between that message and the entry for "Start up complete"

Just had a look at my startup. Mine completes in the same minute.

Beta .38 was taking about 14 minutes to start where as beta .42 is taking about 4-7 minutes.

I too would be curious what specifically "ASP.NET application host is created" is doing.

Hopefully HST can tell us what that is doing and why it would take over 4 minutes on mine.
        Cheers,

I don't know but it might be related to your position in the time space continuum, being in Ontario your clocks might run faster giving the impression of 4 minutes only where you live.

Kidding aside when mine was taking 14 minutes to boot I thought it might be due to the number of plugins I was enabling. I did find a "rogue" instance of one plugin creating about 50 variables on bootup in the last couple of weeks when it originally only had 4. It only happened once and I still don't know what would have triggered endeavor.

I have a dual core 3Ghz HomeSeer machine.
The odd time (and I mean maybe 3 out of 50) the process finishes in a few seconds but most of the time it takes over 4 minutes to complete that ASP.Net creation.

I just checked one of my recent restarts. I have a 1GHz Atom processor.
