    What to use?

I'm looking to implement some home automation for my lighting. I want to control via computer and a hand-held remote control. I have neutral wires. I was sold on insteon, but I've started doing some reading on z-wave and now I'm not so sure.

What should I use? What are the real differences between the two? Are they both good products?

    thanks for reading. ken

Here's the most recent thread on this that I remember but as you can imagine there are lots of others.Search around a bit, read it all and then go with what fits your needs best and that has the least amount of complaints.

Here's another thread on the subject: http://board.homeseer.com/showthread...light=lighting

Each technology has its adherents and detractors. However, before you make a major commitment you should definitely familiarize yourself with z-wave and UPB.
