web server help - fixed!

Hi
I am trying to use the webserver to access HS from any pc at home.
HS is installed on pc 192.168.1.4 on my lan.
I want to access the web pages from other pcs on the lan.
what do I type into the address bar to achieve this?

You should check on which port HS is running. You can find this in the log of homeseer.

On any other machine, you should type in "http://192.168.1.4:<portnumber>".

For example, if your installation of homeseer is running on port 8081, you would have to type

http://192.168.1.4:8081

Also make sure you Web Server is enabled for remote access. Select Setup > Web Server tab and ensure the "Enable Server for Remote Access: " is set to yes.

I have set up on port 81
the firewall was blocking it!
