Aren't you suppose to be able to control turn the temp up and down on the thermostat? I went into advanced mode on the Thermostat and after I added the device to the network I get this screen

Enable the plugins button under Setup->Web Server. There you will see a new button for the thermostat that will give you a thermostat control screen.

On mine it is located at Setup > Interfaces
