Do I need a DSC TL250 or will a IT-100 do it with HomeSeer?

I want to get updates of alarm activation via email/pager and be able to remotely monitor what is going on.

Should I get the TL250 or just use the IT-100 with Homeseer to push those types of events?

It-100 is the supported interface.
