    RFXCOMM and security devices

I understand that my RFXcomm can pick up wireless security devices, in addition to the 1-wire Oregon Scientific stuff I am doing now. I am wondering if this includes wireless motion detectors, and if so, what are some examples of brands that I could use? Can someone explain a little more in depth about these "security devices"

    Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they can receive the X10 signals from the DS10a sensors. I use RFXCom only for Oregon sensors and WGL800/ACRF-2 for X10.

As long as the RFXCom receiver can receive both 433mhz and 310 mhz signals. I had one that received both some time ago. The one I have now only receives 433mhz for my enviromental sensors. I use the WGL800 for my 310mhz X10 signals.

        yeah but

the Ds-10A is technically an X-10 device. The RFXCOMM receiver I have is supposed to be able to pick up Euro X-10, as well as "wireless security devices"
