THIS distance was obtained using my antenna mounted in the attic attached to a W800 RF receiver monitoring a Palm Pad remote 'slightly' modified to run on just under nine volts!

I'm looking to extend my range as well and had some luck with the radioshack antenna. However, I think I need another w800. I was gonna put it upstairs and hopefully do serial to ip or wifi. Anyone know of a good cheap product for this. Would I also need software installed on my homeseer computer to make this work?
