It confirms that my atom 330 running WHS and HSPro was overloaded and moving HSPro to a different pc made both WHS and HSPro work better.

The next step is to upgrade the WHS box to a faster CPU with more ram and go from there.

keeping them seperate or going for upgraded HW to get you back on all the same machine?

like i said.. im not worried about electricity.. yeah i could save money on that.. but going green isnt on my plate yet.... that is why im running a quad core xeon....

I am planning on upgrading the atom to an i5 2400 with 4gb of ram, and putting everything back on one box, besides, the pc HSPro is running on was borrowed from the kitchen touch screen which is where the atom might end up.

I've noticed that the Sandy Bridge MB ready MB/CPUs are dropping in price.

                  Yep,

Total came to 359.35usd for an i5 2400 with 4gb of ram, a mobo and a 160gb hdd shipped. I had an 80usd coupon from bestbuy that i used for the processor which came in handy.

the 160gb hdd is so i can leave the current WHS system working while i build the new one then transfer as needed.
