Hi All
I'll start off by saying I know little about HVAC systems (but I do know a bit about electronics and know how to use a multi-meter - if that helps). I have a CT30 installed and working with a furnace (New Yorker CG60AWN) connected on RH and W. The user guide says:
The install guide says:
Is it a problem connecting AC or DC power to RH when that's used to turn on the furnace (I thought the furnace was activated by connecting RH to W)? If it's not a problem, should I choose Ac or DC?
Regards
Mark

The CT30 can be externally powered with a power source rated from 12V to 24V, AC or DC, at 300ma or greater. If used, connect to the C and RH terminals (no polarity).
