how is it possible to control russound sms3 from homeseer?

Are you using it with a CAV6.6? If you can control the media server with Uno key presses, I believe both Russound plug-ins will allow you to include HS commands that send those key presses. You might want to ask your question on Blade's BLRussound forum.
