I started playing with AirPlay this weekend.
I got it working with an Airport Express connected to a home stereo, worked OK. But I thought it would be nice to wire this to my house speakers.
Some more digging on the net turned up a nice little program that allows me to AirPlay audio to my HS PC which is already wired to my house speakers for the HS audio.
The program is called Shairport4W and so far is working great.
Saved me the cost of another AE and having to wire it in.
I also downloaded the app TuneIn Radio. Works on the iPhone or iPad and you can AirPlay the music. Kinda fun setup with a high WAF.
I still want to add more of a zone solution. I'll probably just go with more AEs as AirPlay ready speakers a few and expensive.
