    Link LM465 to DS10A?

Can DS10A door/window sensor be used to send a signal to LM465 lamp module to turn on a light without somehow going through the controller? In other words can I create a simple security system with just these two components?

No the DS10A sends an X10 security code that has to be interpreted by a receiver like the W800's found on this page.
