    Ignore the startup.

Florescent lights don't have nearly the initial surge that incandescent lights have, and most manufacturers have taken that surge into account.

    Working out 'Load' of Lights

    Hi
How do you work out the 'load' of florescent lights, so I can make sure I buy the right switch?
    I know that I can't use a dimmer.
I have two situations one is 7 outside lights that all use the floro bulbs and another is an office with a total of 9 floro lights.
If I add the ind'l watts everything is under the limit for the z-wave switch but I know at startup there is a greater load.
    Any help appreciated
