      Regarding neutral, you can buy switches that do and don't require neutral from some vendors. When I started my z-wave project, I had no neutrals and boiught CooperAspire switches. I've since rewired entire house and have neutrals. Things like scene controllers and timers generally require neutral

      I've had issues where some incandescent bulbs never go off. Changing the brand fixed it
