How to use the UX17A

Wow, found a device that doesn't have a bunch of discussions on it.

This is the old Whole House IR controller from X10. There are similar products, think they are meant to be triggered from motion sensors.

It learns IR commands and will transmit them when an RF signal is sent to it.

What am I missing? Something the HS works with to transmit the X10 RF?

Guess I can use a relay board and palmpad.

This devices uses the once free Firecracker RF transmitter. But most users have migrated or in the process of migrating away from X10 so there doesn't seem to a be a demand for this. Considering the slew of other proved IR solutions available I can see why.
