Wish I had more time again this year, but the day job has had me too busy to do anything more than a couple of decorations this year. <sigh> maybe next year. Until then keep your photos coming!

I am in the same boat... no time...

but i did get a few things up and running... only 1 outlet setup in HS..and it is x10... O2

and while I can use HS webpage or HSTouch to turn on and off the device... my Event is not working.. not sure why.. but even manually triggering it im getting nothing....

oh well will look at it in the future... but halloween is almost here..

I did notice that if I set HSTouch to turn on the front porch light on @ 30% (dimmable led).. it goes bright, dimms, off then on full... think for halloween Ill do that just for the Halloween ambiance.. just wish it wasnt white.....

I don't generally do a lot for Halloween; it's only one night afterall; but my old Robo-Dog was pressed into service today.
Doorbell rings... Vicious dog starts barking behind the visitor. I expect one or two little ghouls may be going home early to change their pants.
                  Simple but effective.
                  BOOwaahaaahaaahaaa!

                        There is STILL time!

OK, for all you folks who, a week or less before Halloween last year, said they didn't have time to do anything for Halloween... THERE IS STILL PLENTY OF TIME!

Come on! Let's see some creativity! I am tired of the stuff I have done the last 3 years. Hopefully I can figure out something new in time to do it!

                        Let the preparation begin!

                                Halloween

Well we have a bunch of new and separate conduit runs for both high and low voltage. I ran one extra 2 inch conduit out that I want to use for chilled fog, for a graveyard display in the side yard. I am so busy still finalizing the more important day to day things though that I won't have time to build the chiller box, and figure out/set up all the props. At least next year we have all the infrastructure out in the yard to do some really wild things. It will be usable for holiday lighting and what not as well this year. Assuming we stay in this house, I can see myself starting to do more and more in the coming years. This year was more about putting infrastructure in. There are almost a dozen pipes coming up to the side of the house, and that is only for our front side yard!

Inside the house we do have a wolf howl when someone rings the doorbell. I did that a few years ago. In November we change it to a turkey gobble, and in December, jingle bells.
