I saw this, and was very impressed. Not sure if they function as normal Bluetooth devices in terms of polling and the likes, but if they did these things would be ideal for car detection, even occupancy detection (put one in a wallet, purse etc) and then you can know right away if someone is not home, even though their car may be.
I did chuckle at their idea of tracking animals with the devices, but certainly car detection, occupancy presence, and possibly key detection would be great with these things, and they are relatively cheap too!Comment
