When it works UPB is amazing. Then there are times like this.
Prior to this morning everything was working perfectly. I had great signal strength and little noise. I had electrician install a HAI 39A00-2 split phase repeater. I'm not sure if it's relevant but I also have a whole house surge protector.
Now when I launch Upstart I get this message:
Powerline Noise
Severe powerline noise has been detected making it difficult or impossible to work in Online mode.
It tells me that my noise level is severe and my signal level is excellent.
If I choose to work in online mode my network verify comes back with all devices verified/communication good. Sometimes, but not every time, when I choose "work in online mode" I get the message "A phase repeater is in your network file but was not deteced in your UPB network".
But when I select the repeater and verify, it gets verified ok. I also re-installed it after deleting.
Also, my devices can be controlled via upstart fine.
I tried restarting my pc, unplugging the PIM, etc.
We did have a rain/wind storm last night. Could that have anything to do with it?
I tried calling HAI support. They're worthless. Any ideas?
