Here's version 2
This version will only retain the 6 most recent events (it can be changed easily within the scripts) which looks like an ideal amount. It turns out my former scripts weren't easy to accomodate this change, so I just started over again.
You won't be using a z23 script with this version, so the Update button I had shown is useless in this version. I got my current sensor and Powerflash hooked up today and all is good!
