    Would you purchase This?

We're considering offering an 8-zone speaker switcher for use with HomeSeer. However, we're concerned about the hard cost for a unit like this. It would likely be made in the USA and would be a low volume production. What is the most money you would pay for a unit like this?

I would need the answer to that question as well before I could decide what it was worth to me.

And of course how it's to be controlled, via what method?

I would be interested since the AB8SS isn't available any more.

It would be similar to the AB8SS (no volume control).

The poll doesn't have a low enough choice for me. I suggest at least adding a 'No interest' option.

I would replace my 2 AB8SS switchers with it if it had volume control per input.
                        Cheers,
                        Bob

Perhaps I misunderstood. The poll is titled "Would you purchase this?"

Yes. So if you would purchase this the select a number otherwise don't. I believe you are taking the topic a bit literal. The guys aren't interested in who's not going to buy but rather who is.

personally I agree.. no gripping or arguing...

big thing is that it would be nice to have a not interested.. so if HST knows there are 500 active users and only 200 reply... who knows if 300 would have said no.. or if people ignored as there was no option or maybe people didnt want to....
