I think both of those are aiming to appeal to the masses that utilize Latitude the way Google kinda intended it. That will probably scratch the itch.

For me, I used the Google Latitude API, and both of the services you linked to are very closed - No API. With no API, there's not any easy way to link into HA, or at least I don't think there is.

This is crazy limited as the car is very new and stupid expensive (smart expensive depending on how you look at it). But tesla has a streaming api. Any way to integrate that into your plugin?

I don't have a clue. Might be worth looking into. Can you point me to some API docs?

Looks like there are several people using it to track their car in real time. I emailed one of the individuals for the documentation he has. There is this https://github.com/hjespers/teslams/...ster/README.md which is using the streaming api with java I think. See the streaming.js toward the bottom of the page. Thanks.
