I saw those yesterday and hesitated until I could ask here, seems like a natural fit.

      From their site...

The TCP Lighting solution uses JenNet-IP protocol to connect with the light bulbs.

This is a low frequency technology which is effective for wireless communications in a home-based environment.

Devices using this technology consume very little power making them ideal for residential home area networks (HAN) where energy conservation is important.

I saw these today as well (the two pack for $50) and almost bought them.

gearyt - when you say jon00 has already tackled these could you be more specific (i.e. - link directly to what he has done regarding these)? I tried searching but couldn't find anything on here.

I'd be interested in learning more about them.

Review from a few months ago: http://reviews.cnet.com/smart-home/c...-35831715.html

Pretty favorable, especially for the price.
