I just purchased several Cree 100 watt equivalent bulbs at Home Depot. I was hoping to use them with X10 WS12A wall switches since their actual load is 18 watts. I can report that this did not work at all. The bulbs flicker badly at all levels from 100% on down.

Add at least one 40 watt or more incandescent bulb on same circuit and they will work fine.Unfortunately, this means there needs to be more than one fixture on each switch that you put the florescent on.Comment

Most controllers and switches from x10 require 40 watt load minimum.Comment
