Not sure if any of you guys have seen this KickStarter campaign for AngelBlocks: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...blocks-for-sma.
I became interested in it for a few different reasons: the wireless range capability is (in theory) longer than most out there and I have a shed that's quite a ways from our house and we always leave the door open it so I wanted a way to monitor it; it's one of a few of these types of systems that doesn't require "the cloud"; and all code is being released as open source, so hopefully it should be easy to integrate into HS.
I have pledged some money to the campaign, but other than that have no affiliation with them
