    Internet Explorer security issue

I will eventually upgrade to windows 7, but not now! I have 3 computers running XP, they are all old. To spend money for Win 7 makes no sense for me. I would rather by a new computer with windows already installed.

XP is EOL.. MS should have stood their ground and said.. sorry EOL... since they came out with the patch.. it tells my company that they waisted $250k on 1 year of patch support as MS did this for free.....
Remember, although MS have stopped free support for XP to domestic customers, there are a vast amount of large commercial customers running XP that still receive full support on XP for a fee; such as most of the worlds ATM machines or Banks, the UK railway network most kiosk info machines and so on.

So it was no great sacrifice for MS to release this patch and make themselves look like the good guys as the patch was already prepared for their paying customers.
