Using the HS Insteon Plugin I get ERROR Cannot connect to port: COM3.
I am using the FTDI drivers 2.1 from Jan 2014.
I see the USB Converter and virtual USB Serial Port (COM3) in device manager. No yellow ! devices in Device Manager.
I don't specifically see the PLM attached to anything in device manager. Should I?
There are no other normal COM ports.
I have tried all 3 USB ports on the laptop.
Unplugging and plugging the USB cable to the computer consistently generates the little Add/Remove device bong. Same with Plugging and unplugging the USB cable to the PLM itself.
After reboot with USB disable the COM 3 does not show but inserting the USB makes COM 3 show. The Win7 OS appears to be detecting the device.
