It does what a few others do and I'm not using it for its primary purpose since I already run smart watch pro but it does offer something that can be done without running - iOS widgets! You can make buttons in the Notification Center and make calls to homeseer with restful or json. Works like a charm! It also supports beacon! I'm expecting other apps, including hstouch, will offer tight integration but in the meantime it offers a good stop gap.

BTW I am anxiously awaiting the day when hstouch can run in the background and offer widgets. The hue app may offer pretty good inspiration it lets you set controls as widgets in app.
