    LED strip dimming with Insteon or Z-Wave

    Hi, I have to replace the old style lighting strips that use bulbs with LED strips due to good 'ol bulb failure (the issue with the old bulb strips is that when one bulb goes, an entire segment of the strip goes).

    I did find some references to DMX controllers but they are too expensive and complex for what I need (I just need simple dimming). I also saw a wonderful idea to use an AC-AC transformer and a diode bridge... that is easy to do but before I do something that isn't UL approved I want to know if anyone has found an off the shelf solution for dimming these strips using either Insteon or Z-Wave devices.

    The strips are 5 meters long +12VDC warm white strips and I need power three of them.

      In my wine cellar I have LED strips along the inside door, dimming them via a standard z-wave plug-in dimmer using this magnetic dimmable transformer:
