I am using Netcam Studio with Windows 7. I have 2 Logitech C510 webcams attached. Netcam Studio thinks they are the same camera.
Using the program WebcamViewer, I can view each webcam normally so I know that Windows knows there are 2 cams. I e-mailed Netcam Studio about this and they said:
"The software recognizes the source of the video driver name, if you use two webcams with the same driver, it conflicts. We always recommend to use webcam different models in order to use different names driver."
My first thought was to make a copy of the driver and rename it then point the 2nd cam to that driver. However, there are a lot of files associated with these webcams so I guess that approach is out of the question.
Any ideas?
FYI - I chose these cams for 3 reasons:
1 - They are flat and thin and install perfectly inside the home theater speakers.
2 - They are HD.
3 - I already owned them
Thanks,
Robert
