USB search

Is it just me; I searched all forums for "USB" and the engine returns "not found"!?! Other expected keywords search fine. I Even found a thread with USB and searched it, same answer; what am I doing wrong.

My question was "can I add a 4 port USB hub to a hometroller SE?". The SE has two USB ports and I have a zstick, rain8net and DSC alarm to plug in. When I plug in the hub, rain8net "cannot find com4".

The forum software probably doesn't allow searching for words shorter than 4 or 5 characters.

Your best bet is to use Google to search. Use the Google page, the Google toolbar or Chrome.

It is best to arrange your query this way:

site:board.homeseer.com USB

You can follow site:board.homeseer.com by words, phrases, etc.

If you are using the Google toolbar in IE just put the terms in the search box. If you are using Chrome, you can put the terms in the address bar.

If you follow the above with "social media" you will find posts that only contain that exact phrase.

If you follow the above without quotes social media you will find posts that contain either word.

If you follow the above without quotes and the "+" symbol social+media you will find posts that contain both words, but not necessarily together.
